Mr. Morse passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 in Tishomingo, Oklahoma at the age of 51. Brice was born to Tom and Sandy Morse on April 17th, 1965 in Key West, FL. Being a military dependent, he moved with his parents from Japan, Hawaii and Okinawa. Upon completing high school in Sterling, he and Misty Smithson were married. A son, William, was born to this union. After he and Misty divorced, he married Danette Sikes to which a Son, Josiah, was born. After another divorce, he met the love of his life, Kim. Whom he adored beyond belief. After moving to Tishomingo and managing the Family Dollar, Life was great. I want to quote a text from one of his Assistant Managers. I am one of Brices Assistant Managers at Family Dollar. We are all heart broken and praying for your family. We are a family up here, and Brice kept us all laughing. We argued, bickered and teased but we all had a huge amount of respect for him. I, as a newly separated single mom of four, with no retail experience Brice not only gave me a job, he also pushed me. He believed in me and while he got great joy out of watching me pull my hair out. He took a lot of pride in teaching me everything he could think of. He was loved by most of his customers, some he just got a kick out of teasing and they didnt always laugh. I have seen him more than once donate from his own pocket to school or church fundraisers the company wouldnt support. He has covered customers when they didnt have enough money. All in all, we all feel, very blessed to have known him and worked with him. Hes deeply missed already. He is survived by his wife, Kim Morse, of Madill; 2 sons: William Morse of Weatherford and Josiah Morse of Chickasha; his parents: Tom Morse and Glenda, of Duncan; 1 brother, Thomas Morse and his wife Misty of Sterling; 1 sister, Trina Fox and her husband David of Texas; 1 stepbrother, Don Pruit and his wife Cherry of FL; 1 stepsister, Sami Wolf and Joan of NM; 6 uncles and aunts: Billy Foss of FL, Buddy Foss of AZ, Eddie Morse and Joyce of Sterling, Pat Botts of Rush Springs, Jimmy Morse and Deanie of Minco, and Scott Morse and Carol of Minco; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandy Morse; and grandparents: Scott and Irene Morse and Brice and Myra Foss.
