Obituary for Theresa Marie Cloon

Funeral service for Theresa Cloon, 50, of Elgin, Oklahoma, will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 1, 2017, at the Crossroads Baptist Church with Pastor Curtis Erwin, officiating. Burial will follow at the Elgin Memorial Cemetery under the direction of the Fletcher Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Cloon passed away on Friday, January 27, 2017 in Lawton, Oklahoma at the age of 50. Theresa Marie Cloon was born January 21, 1967 in Los Angeles, California to Douglas and Verna (Maier) Cloon. She attended Mission College before going to UCLA where she obtained her Bachelor�s Degree in History and Political Science. Theresa received her Master�s Degree in History from California State University and her Master�s Degree in Accounting online from Phoenix University. She moved to Oklahoma in 2007 and worked as the billing manager for Arrow Moving and Storage of Lawton. Theresa was an avid NASCAR fan and her favorite driver was Jeff Gordon #24. She is survived by her son, Brandon Cloon, of the home; her parents: Doug and Verna Cloon, of the home; aunts and uncles: Eddie and Johnnie Cloon, of Fletcher, Pat and Ronald Campbell, of Luther, Alan and Pam, Tom, and Ronald Martin, all of Maryland; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Marty Cloon; and her nephew, Tyler Cloon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Fletcher Funeral Home to help with final expenses.
