Obituary for Patsy Jean Jacobi

Patsy Jean Jacobi was born on February 15, 1948, in Cyril, and she departed this life on July 17, 2017, near Sterling at the age of 69 years old.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, July 26th at the Sterling United Methodist Church with Pastor Matt Hester officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by the Fletcher Funeral Home.
Patsy was born on February 15, 1948 in Cyril, Oklahoma and later adopted in 1951 by Kenneth and Helen Ledgerwood. She graduated from Borger High School in 1966. She then married Sheldon Green in 1966, and they later divorced. Patsy married Robert “Bob” Jacobi on October 20, 1974 in El Dorado, OK and he became her forever.
Patsy was very active in the lives of her children. She loved getting to go and do things with them. She attended every ballgame and event that they were involved in. She was a Brownie Scout leader and sponsored several band parent events as well. Patsy was an active member in the Sterling United Methodist Church. Patsy had 4 grandkids, which she loved getting to go see and spend time with. She was a daughter, a sister, a wife, a loving mother, an aunt, and a proud grandma, great-grandma and a friend. Patsy loved gardening, crafting and being with her grandchildren and great-grandbaby. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her well.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Kista and husband Craig Taylor of Apache; Karena and husband Les Kuntz, of Sterling; grandchildren, Kaitlyn and husband Kaleb Knott, Morgan Taylor, Jacob Kuntz and Hannah Kuntz; and one great-grandson, Kolson Knott. She is also survived by her sister Lorene Bender of Rush Springs, along with many nieces and nephews and numerous other family and friends.
Patsy’s parents, Kenneth and Helen Ledgerwood as well as one son, Kenneth Scott Green preceded her in death.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Sterling United Methodist Church or an Animal Rescue of your choice.
