Obituary for Maleta I'uvale

A memorial service for Maleta I’uvale, 57, and Jordin I’uvale, 25, both of Elgin, Oklahoma will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 12, 2017 at the Elgin Funeral Home Chapel.

Maleta I’uvale and son Jordin I’uvale passed away on October 6, 2017. They leave behind a host of family including Mother, grandmother, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, cousins, and grandchildren.

Maleta was born on February 27, 1960, to Nellie and Tufa I’uvale in Corpus Christie, Texas. She was a strong woman of faith, who always enjoyed meeting people from all walks of life. Her true passion was taking care of those who needed it most. She was also a lover of children as well as animals. She was the definition of a true mother’s love.

Jordin was born on November 4, 1991, in Lawton, Oklahoma. He had a passion for online gaming, Sonic, and his two dogs, Seven and Apa. His true passion was spending time with his family, friends, and being a contributor to his community. He was also known as “Comanche Boy” by the Comanche Nation.

"Sometimes it’s better to help someone in life who cannot help themselves", was one of Maleta' favorite quotes. They both lived by these words and may we all continue to live by them. The kindness and love that they shared in life will be greatly missed by all.
