Obituary for Margaret "Jodi" Kloer

Funeral service for JoAnn Mahan-White Kloer will be held 12:30 pm, Friday, April 6, 2018 at Fletcher Assembly of God Church with Brother Dennis Myers, officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00 pm at the Ft. Sill National Cemetery under the direction of the Fletcher Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00 am until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Margaret JoAnn Mahan was born March 21, 1942 to Joseph Mahan and Susie Hosford-Mahan in Lyles, Tennessee. Joe and Susie raised their children in Fletcher and resided in Fletcher until they passed. JoAnn, as she was known to many, loved to go to the local roller skating rink as a young girl. This is where she met Russell S White while he was a solider at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. They married January 31, 1958 in Wichita Falls, Texas. They moved to Oswego, Kansas when Russell ended his tour in Korea during the Korean War. They had 4 children, 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Joann later married Larry Kloer and moved back to Fletcher to be near her family. They had 2 children, 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. Family was most important to her. Joann enjoyed big family gatherings, fishing, barbeques, and watching the children play. She will be missed so dearly by all who knew and loved her.

JoAnn is survived by her children: Audrea White, Sherman White and his wife Cindy White, Cindy Dees and her husband Douglas Dees,Sr, Tracy White and his wife Teri White, Tory Kloer and his wife Kimmie Kloer, and Nikki Williams and her husband Dale Williams; her grandchildren: Dustin Boothe, Daniel Boothe, David Boothe, Lacey Boothe, Michael White-Strimple, Jamie Stanislaus, Douglas Dees,Jr, Ricky Dees,Sr, Darrel Dees, Thomas White, Alex White, Paris Duvall, Tifany Kloer, Lance Workman, Tori Kloer, Dusti Grossnickolaus, Wyatt Grossnickolaus, and Yolissa Williams; and 8 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by: Harold White (father in law), Charlotte White (mother in law), Verlyn White (brother in law), Joseph Mahan (father) Susie Mahan (mother), Wiley Mahan (brother), Lacy Mahan (brother) Shelbey Mahan (brother), Virginia Mahan (sister), Betty Sue Mahan (sister), Hazel Kloer (mother in law), Dennis Kloer (father in law) and Taylor Kloer (granddaughter).

The family requests that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the children’s departments of the Fletcher and Sterling Assembly of God Churches.
